William M. Moore Metropolitan Funeral
On December 25, 2022, our beloved brother, son, father, and friend, William “Marquie” Moore transitioned, at the age of 37, to be with our Lord and Savior. William was born and raised in the city of Portsmouth, Virginia. He was the son, born to the parentage of Gwendolyn Haskins and the late William Henry Harris (Slim). He obtained his GED in 2014 and later started working at the Main located in the City of Norfolk. He then became a proud father to his one and only son, Marquie Henry Harris Cox, born in 2017. During his time on earth, he loved music, his locs and being around family. He is predeceased by nephew, Lamontae Davis and sister, Shaun Moore. William leaves to mourn his mother, Gwendolyn Haskins (Bill); one son, Marquie Henry Harris Cox; sisters, Cilisia Davis, Nicole Moore, Natalya Moore, Tiffany Haskins, Deborah Artis Eason (Leslie) and Shawndell Harris; brothers, Lemuel Davis and Mark Barnes; grandmother, Emily Davis; nieces, Demonie Artis, Rendi Rodgers, Kendra Stewart, and Kaitlyn Haskins; great niece, Kehlani Davis; nephews, Lemuel Davis, Jr., Jaden Moore, Shelden Carter, Demarion Cofield, Derrick Barnes, DeAngelo Barnes, Micheal Artis and Kevin Cheeks; aunts, Collette Reeves (Naaman) and Lisa Potts; uncles, Willie Hinton and Tommy Davis; best friend, Reak; and a host of other relatives and friends.
